HOTEL NIZA 66

Location: Colonia Juarez, Mexico City.

Client: Nemesis Capital

Area: 5,150 sqm.

Year: In Process

NIZA 66 offers a new sense of connectivity in Mexico City. Adapted for hospitality and commercial use, it´s conveniently located as a passageway between La Cuauhtémoc, La Juarez and La Roma neighborhoods, and a destination from Paseo de la Reforma, the most important avenue of the Mexican capital and country.

Located one block for Av. Chapultepec and two blocks from Paseo de la Reforma, the project is a 12-story building with 2 levels of commercial space; it has 105 suites between 20 and 45 sqm from 1 to 2 beds, and at the top floors theirs the amenities areas, with the best views towards the city.

Its monumental structured is balanced by its porosity, creating a public flow through the building by opening a gateway to the courtyard and engaging with the surrounding street to extend its presence beyond walls. And these fluity continues from the ground floor to the fist level of the building.

We moved the building back on its alignment towards the street to be able to create and add bay windows to the façade, to take advantage of the sunlight, the views and the interior spaces.

The design of Niza 66 aims for architecture to return to the city, with the main objective of providing citizens with an urban experience with the advent of a “natural-city”.
