CPDA ARQUITECTOS is a studio of young architects and designers founded in 2016 by Juan Pablo Cepeda (1982, México) in Mexico City.

We believe that to design at this time, due to the identity crisis in which we live, it is necessary to touch the past and have a vision of the future. The juxtaposition of what already exists with a new and fresh solution, make our projects an aesthetic interpretation of the elements that identify the space with its past, its present and its future, reflecting the influence of local labor and materials.

Regardless of the scale or scope, we provide each project with the same high level of rigor and care. We respect the tradition and legacy of good Mexican architecture, in order to achieve this goal, we respectfully look back at the past not leaving by side the historical process and transformations of the context but creating an aesthetic reinterpretation of the elements that identify the site with its present and its future.

Our methodology is based on the study of each case to give unique solutions. We use collaborative tools and work with different specialists such as engineers, builders, financiers, industrial designers, landscape architects, graphic designers, artists, etc., thus forming a multidisciplinary firm.

Architecture and the city are two elements that cannot be undestood in isolation. Creating a city is something we are commited to, adapting to the context, by not ignoring the historical process and dismiss what has remained and what has been transformed from the site. Enlarging ourselves and belonging to the area, contributing through the design. This process is what the values and characteristics of our cultural identity.

For our studio the interior design corresponds to the use of orientation, create the optimal solution that facilities habitability, the natural ventilates and illuminates to use mostly natural resources, this is the way which we believe and create our own sustainable conscious, we integrate design of the facilities alternative and passive systems to generate the lowest possible expense.
